Hi cousin, I am actually taking my dad (Paul) out to Reggie Brulotte’s today so he can see the hop picking. As I am reading your post about your dad. A hop truck drove by me with the smell of fresh cut hops, you know the smell. I just think it was a hi from your dad. Really touching moment. Thank you for sharing your journey& memories .

Thank you Jenny, I loved getting this from you. The other day, Trevor sent along a recent picture of your Dad with Joey—another serendipitous moment as we where thinking a lot of Uncle Paul this past weekend too. We drove past “the old places” especially where the kiln and machine of “The Lenseigne Bros” used to stand. Surreal there are no more remnants there. Everything has changed so much. I love the connection with the hop truck driving by—yes, I remember that smell. It’s a part of our DNA, right? And every Fall, I miss it. Love to your Dad for me, okay?
