I suspect that if one can answer that question definitively, and the answer, or reason for being chosen, was benevolent, then it must bring a lot of deep satisfaction. Wisdom, I believe, is found right there, in that place of authentic and meaningful, yet humble, satisfaction. That is also why I think my Dad knew his answer even though he might not have been able to put words to it.
