Dearest Kert,

Blessings to you and your amazing family! Beginning with the Patriarch, your Dad.

My prayers and love are with all of you, not only the journey of this past year but in these final days. Give Kristen a hug and one for yourself.

Blessings,

Konnie

Thank you Konnie. You don’t know what it means to me for you to have been so engaged and interested in reading about my dad. We accept your blessings with gratitude; and return them as well in warmth and abundance.

Kert you are so inspirational and I hope you will consider turning your blog into a book and dedicate it to your Dad and Kristen. I learned so much as my Dad who is 97, is swiftly approaching his final journey!

Love,

Konnie

Kind, kind words when kindness is so precious right now. Thanks Konnie. If a book were to be imagined from these ramblings about Dad, then there could be no others, other than Dad and Kristin, for whom such a thing could be dedicated: the only two who have made all this possible.

Paul, I know where we recently encountered each other in a different thread—and I am filled with gratitude and humility that you became interested or intrigued in my Dad’s journey. Thank you. That has such deep meaning for me right now. And then to receive a native blessing like that from you. Thank you mate! May our paths cross at some future point, and may we recognize each other through the friendship of our souls.

It is with tears in my eyes as I envision the loving space you have created and are holding for Wally (not just the past couple of days but since the day he moved into your home).

Hugs and love to all of you ❤️

LeAnn, thank you. We feel your hugs and love so know your presence is here with us too. Dad seems to have fallen deeper into unconsciousness—but he remains peaceful. I am so grateful we were able to realize Dad’s wishes to be exactly here, at this exact time. Just as it does take a village to raise a child, it takes the same village to usher an Elder through their dying. And thank YOU for being a part of Dad’s village.

Kert,

Please know that we are all praying for all of you. Uncle Wally is so lucky to have loving children by his side. Thank you for all you are doing for him. It truly is a blessing to be able to care for them in their elder years. God bless all of you! Hugs to Uncle Wally. Mom sends her love too. 🙏🏼❤️

Thank you Karen! I know you know from where you speak when sharing these sentiments about our Elders. We have been SO lucky, and are so grateful, to have given Dad this wish of being in a place among family at this liminal time. We are lucky to have had all the circumstances line up in the world to make this real for him. Dad continues to rest/sleep deeply right now. And he is peaceful and in ease. Love to you, the entire Roy clan, and especially to our beloved Aunt Emma. You all, because we have you in spirit in our hearts, are a presence in our home right now.

Praying for peace of heart and soul for your dad and all of your family. Thank you for taking the time and thought to teach us about your dad's journey, life, and especially LOVE and COMPASSION in abundance! YOUR CHOICE on your perspective, focus and mind set visits me daily, a mindful position my brother had in my life up until a year ago. Thank you for the enlightenment and direction. The choices are our own of how we look at life.... Thankful...

And gratitude returned back to you Holli. Thank you. And if we look at life with an open and abundant heart, that is what we’ll find, right? “Everywhere you look, you see what you are looking for. Where you look for love, everywhere you look, you’ll see love.”
